The Ultimate Chocolate Cherry Brownies

Whether you need something special for Valentine's Day, or maybe just for a special occasion, like Tuesday, these brownies will really hit the spot!

As usual, even though I know a lengthy introduction would probably help my SEO, I know you don't have time for that. Just take my word for the fact that these are awesome.

Here's the recipe:

3/4 cup oil

1 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup flour

2/3 cup cocoa

1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

1 cup sweet cherries - chopped. You can use fresh or frozen. If you do frozen, be sure to thaw and drain thoroughly before using.

Combine wet and dry ingredients separately. Mix thoroughly, then fold in chocolate chips and chopped cherries. Bake in an 8x8 or 9x9 pan, at 350F for about 30 minutes.

Keep and eye on them and take them out of the oven as soon as the middle is set. You want them to remain a little fudgey. Depending on your actual pan size, and your oven, it may more or less than 30 minutes, so start checking around 20 minutes and check every 5-10 until they're done.

They probably freeze well, but it's unlikely they will be around the house for more than 24 hours, so you probably won't have to freeze them. :)
